Queensland forest and wood plantations industry development project
-
- Key projects are growing our private plantation sector
The Queensland Government is working with the Queensland forest and wood industry to deliver more targeted industry development for the private forest and wood plantation sector.
In 2009, the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI) launched a new statewide project with Timber Queensland to support this focus through improved services and enhanced capacity.
Two industry development officers have been appointed as part of the project, one placed with Timber Queensland and the other within DEEDI.
