| Distribution | Inshore including estuaries and river systems in the northern Gulf of Carpentaria and eastern coastline of Queensland. Captures reported in the southern and western gulf are unconfirmed. |

| Fisheries | Inshore gillnet fisheries; however, rarely encountered. |
