Alumni network
Past Queensland Government primary industries employees can continue to keep in touch with the department, their former colleagues and the latest industry news by joining the Agriculture and Food Alumni Network.
Alumni can share their wealth of talent and experience by mentoring a new departmental staff member.
Membership includes:
- e-newsletter on the latest departmental and industry news. View the current newsletter edition
- local alumni events held throughout the year in each region. Alumni events are published in the e-newsletter
- mentoring program facilitated across the state with employees at all levels, to share experiences and knowledge
- network of contacts to facilitate enquiries about industry opportunities and issues, colleague contact and general advice
- emergency response volunteering to access additional assistance during high-response industry situations.
The Agriculture and Food Alumni Network is a free service, and is supported around Queensland by departmental alumni contacts in each region.
