RSS feeds

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds allow you to see when new content is published on a website without having to visit the site itself.

To subscribe to a feed you will need a news reader. The news reader software checks the feeds you subscribe to for updates and lists any new content that has been published on the originating website.

There are many of news readers available and most are free. Some can be accessed through your browser and others are downloadable applications that you must install on your computer.

A list of new readers is available on Google Directory.
