The Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI) is helping primary producers manage their business through a range of drought services, including financial assistance, livestock nutrition and animal welfare information, and business-management strategies.

Drought Relief Assistance Scheme (DRAS)
DRAS is a scheme set up by the Queensland Government to help primary producers during and after drought.
Commonwealth Exceptional Circumstances (EC) assistance
Exceptional Circumstances (EC) are rare and severe events that are outside those that a farmer could normally be expected to manage under responsible farm management strategies.
