Queensland has a reputation for high-quality, clean and healthy food production. To safeguard this reputation, we regulate the use of pesticides and veterinary medicines. We also monitor agricultural inputs, such as fertilisers and animal feeds, plant and animal produce for compliance with chemical residues and contaminants standards.
