The Restricted Area Search Engine map-based database (RASE) and the maps of the restricted areas (Maps) are the property of the State of Queensland through the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI). DEEDI requires you to agree to the following conditions before using RASE, the Maps and any data included in the Maps or data or maps included in RASE or derived from the use of RASE (Data):

Ownership

I acknowledge that I have no rights of ownership in RASE, the Maps and any Data and all intellectual property rights in RASE, the Maps and the Data are retained by the owners.

Liability

I acknowledge that DEEDI has obtained some Data from third parties and has not independently verified this information. I acknowledge that to the extent permitted by law, all representations and warranties concerning RASE, the Maps and the Data (to the extent the Data is obtained from third parties) are excluded by DEEDI, including as to the accuracy, completeness, currency or suitability for your purpose of information, that reasonable care has been taken in its preparation, or the non-infringement of third party rights. I agree that DEEDI is not under any liability to me for any loss or damage (including consequential loss or damage) from my use of RASE, the Maps or the Data.

Permitted use

I accept that use of RASE, the Maps or the Data by me shall be limited to my own personal use or for use in the ordinary course of my business. I shall not sell or distribute RASE, the Maps or the Data for reward to any third party, or produce any hardcopy products incorporating RASE, the Maps or the Data except for those hardcopy products I am allowed to give away free of any charges. The hardcopy products are to be distributed at no charge and cannot be amalgamated into or combined with other products and services for which a charge is levied or a fee paid. I shall not use RASE, the Maps or the Data with the intention of encroaching upon the privacy of an individual or a company or other organisation.
