Guidelines summary

This guide outlines the obligations of Biosecurity Queensland as provider of fluoroacetate (1080) in Queensland, and the responsibilities and obligations of users.

The guide also provides information on safe and effective procedures to ensure the responsible and legal use of fluoroacetate for vertebrate pest animal control.

The guidelines apply to all approved operators of fluoroacetate in Queensland. They outline responsibilities of 1080 trainers, approved operators and landholders and give general principles for the management and supply of 1080 by the department.
