Animal research and development

DAFF supports Queensland's animal industries through applied research and development (R&D), and extension activities, in the following areas:

We specialise in applied R&D closely linked with extension activities and with strong industry participation. Particular strengths are our understanding of tropical and sub-tropical production systems and our close collaboration with industry and other R&D providers, especially via our participation in various Cooperative Research Centres.

A list of current and past projects and publications is available from Australian Agriculture and Natural Resources Online.
