Beef Breeding Services (BBS)

Beef Breeding Services (BBS) provides a comprehensive range of artificial breeding services and products to both domestic and international beef producers. The special-purpose unit of the Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries is Australia's largest tropical beef genetics and artificial breeding organisation.

Based in central Queensland, with an additional distribution outlet in Brisbane, BBS operates laboratories that process over 350,000 straws of semen annually.
