Enterprising women in rural industries

The Enterprising Women in Rural Industries program recognises the increasing significance of entrepreneurship to the future development of Queensland´s rural industries and the important role women play in that development. The program's ultimate goal is to ensure that we have more women working in rural industries developing and expanding profitable and sustainable businesses.

Women in rural industries (i.e. agriculture, fisheries and forestry) are making significant contributions to Queensland´s economy, particularly through the development of food, fibre and agritourism businesses.
