Property Management Systems Initiative
The Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries is working with industry to rollout a series of Property Management Systems Initiatives (PMSI) to assist landholders improve bottom-line outcomes and sustainably manage their natural resources.

Queensland boasts the nation's greatest range of commercially produced exotic tropical fruits and vegetables. The Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries has researched the market demand and viability of minimally processed fruit.

Sandalwood for North Queensland
Recent trials where sandalwood trees have been planted after mining regeneration, have shown promise for the potential development of a sandalwood industry in the Weipa area.
