-
- Fostering growth in Queensland´s plantation forestry sector
Comments have now closed on the Issues Paper developed as part of the Queensland Government´s review of the Queensland Tree Tenure System (QTTS).
The consultation sought feedback from agribusiness stakeholders on issues associated with the current operation of the QTTS, and recommendations about how to improve the QTTS from a forest growing or plantation establishment perspective.
Consultation process
Mr Steven Perissinotto, a lawyer and independent consultant with considerable experience with the QTTS, has been engaged by the Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries to lead and undertake the review.
The submissions will now be considered and collated by the consultant with a reference group of key stakeholders.
A final report on the issues and recommendations for improvement will be prepared for consideration by the Queensland Government.
If you require further information, contact Mr Steven Perissinotto on telephone 07 3102 1971 or email QTTSReview@gmail.com
