Queensland's commercial fisheries are a significant contributor to the national and state economy. DPI&F supports a profitable commercial fishing sector, while protecting and conserving fisheries resources for the benefit of all Queenslanders.

Members of the public can view the register of authorities for information on commercial licences, permits, quota and some reports of interest. Commercial licence holders can perform a number of transactions online, such as temporary transfer of quota.
