Some of the data contained in the restricted area maps is the property of Queensland's Department of Natural Resources, Mines & Water and MapInfo, and used by DPI&F under a licence agreement. The Department of Natural Resources, Mines & Water and MapInfo require you to agree to the following conditions before viewing the maps:

Ownership

I acknowledge that I have no rights of ownership in the Derived Data Product and all Intellectual Property Rights in the Derived Data Products are retained by the State of Queensland (Department of Natural Resources, Mines & Water) and MapInfo.

Liability

I acknowledge that neither the State of Queensland (Department of Natural Resources, Mines & Water) nor MapInfo guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the Derived Data Product, and do not make any warranty about the Derived Data Product. I agree that neither the State of Queensland (Department of Natural Resources, Mines & Water) nor MapInfo are under any liability to me for any loss or damage (including consequential loss or damage) from my use of the Derived Data Product.

Permitted use

I accept that use of the data by me shall be limited to my own personal use or for use in the ordinary course of my business. I shall not on-sell or distribute the data for reward to any third party, or produce any hardcopy products incorporating the data except for those hardcopy products I am allowed to give away free of any charges. The hardcopy products are to be distributed at no charge and cannot be amalgamated into or combined with other products and services for which a charge is levied or a fee paid. I shall not use the Derived Data Product with the intention of encroaching upon the privacy of an individual or a company or other organisation.
