The organisation

Queensland Primary Industries and Fisheries (part of the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation) has a vision of 'profitable primary industries for Queensland', and supports strategic industry development at all stages of the industry life cycle and throughout the entire value chain - from production to consumption.

Our mission is to maximise the economic potential for Queensland's primary industries on a sustainable basis.
