Employment

The Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries (DPI&F) employs over 3,000 staff in over 150 locations across the State. Staff are employed in a wide variety of rewarding professions and fields. From boating patrol officers patrolling Queensland waters, to research scientists working on world-class projects to forest rangers monitoring State owned forest plantations, DPI&F is a unique and dynamic workplace.
