Drought conditions in Queensland are now at their toughest. The Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries (DPI&F) is helping primary producers manage their business through a range of drought services, including financial assistance, livestock nutrition and animal welfare information, and business-management strategies.

National Agricultural Monitoring System (NAMS)

NAMS contains a range of climatic and production information, for dryland/broadacre and irrigated industries, for over 600 regions throughout Australia. NAMS assists in the development of exceptional circumstances drought information.
