Queensland’s agrifood innovators, primary producers and entrepreneurs are being invited to represent the state at Australia’s leading agrifood innovation event, with applications now open for the Team Queensland delegation to AgriFutures evokeAG. 2027 in Adelaide.
Returning for its fifth year, our Team Queensland delegation will bring together a diverse group of innovators, primary producers, startups, scaleups and AgTech ecosystem leaders to showcase Queensland capability, build new partnerships and connect with investors, researchers and industry leaders from across Australia and around the world.
Department of Primary Industries Acting Deputy Director-General of Agriculture Peter Donaghy said Team Queensland helps connect Queensland's primary industries innovators with the people and opportunities that can take their ideas further.
"Whether it's attracting investment, forging new partnerships or exploring emerging technologies, evokeAG. puts Queensland delegates at the centre of conversations shaping the future of agriculture,” Mr Donaghy said.
"Producers, startups, researchers and industry leaders from across Queensland’s AgTech ecosystem will have opportunities to learn from each other and build the relationships that turn great ideas into real-world outcomes.
"These connections extend beyond the event, linking Queensland innovators with national and international networks to strengthen the state’s innovation ecosystem and support the continued growth of our primary industries."
Accelerated innovation, readiness and adoption is a key priority under Primary Industries Prosper 2050 to help producers respond to local and global disruptors and drive toward $30 billion by 2030.
AgriFutures evokeAG. will be held in Adelaide on 16 to 17 February 2027. Applications to join the Team Queensland delegation are open to Queensland-based startups, scaleups, entrepreneurs, primary producers and ecosystem enablers focused on innovative products, services, business models and strengthening Queensland’s innovation ecosystem.
Successful applicants will receive a complimentary full-rate registration package to evokeAG. 2027, valued at $1,750, as well as access to exclusive Team Queensland networking opportunities.
